Name: Tim Hahn

Lives in: Jackson

Family: My bride, Tenisa, and our cat, Pumpkin.

Job: Director of Marketing for Midamerica Hotels Corporation.

What do you like most about the area? My family lives in Cape Girardeau and I like being close to them. I like the amenities that Cape Girardeau and Jackson have to offer along with the safety factor -- I couldn't think of a better place to raise a family. I also like the opportunity to be involved in community events.

Favorite food: My mom's chicken and dumplings. She uses a Kelso family recipe that gets rave reviews from my office team members.

Favorite TV show: I like watching the "24" series. On Sundays, Tenisa and I like watching "Trading Spaces."

Best advice: "Never wrestle with a pig -- you both get dirty, and the pig likes it." I also have a picture on the wall in my office that reads: "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

Person you most admire: My favorites are the people who lead and inspire (such as my wife), and those who take risks. I have also gained a great deal of respect for the cancer survivors I work with in Relay for Life.

What would you do if you won the lottery? Life would not change too much, that is, if you ignore the trips abroad with my wife, my new motorcycle and the huge donation I would make to the American Cancer Society.

Pet peeve: I agree with Mayor Sander -- those who drive slow in the left-hand lane!
