United Native American People will have its seventh annual Intertribal Living Indian Village on June 5 and 6 at 10 a.m. at the Old Greenville Recreational area on Highway 67, two miles south of Greenville, Mo. Among many activities and demonstrations, dancing and drumming will be presented. For more information on this event, call 238-3856. This event is sponsored in cooperation with the Wappapello Lake Project Office of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. VFW holding poppy sales this week

VFW Post 3838 will hold its annual distribution of buddy poppies on the streets of Cape Girardeau Thursday and Friday. Sales of the poppies benefit disabled veterans. Poppy donations may be made at the VFW today through Saturday.
