St. Maurus Parish makes plans for breakfast

BIEHLE, Mo. -- St. Maurus Parish will hold a breakfast from 7 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the parish hall on Route B, two miles west of Interstate 55 in Biehle. The menu includes whole hog sausage, eggs, potatoes, milk gravy, biscuits and homemade coffeecake. Children under 6 eat free.

Proceeds from dinner to benefit Red Cross

A fried chicken and ham dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Delta Community Center in Delta. Children under 5 eat free. Donations go to the American Red Cross.

Sedgewickville church schedules chicken fry

Sedgewickville, Mo. -- The annual fall chicken fry will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 pm. Sept. 25 at the Sedgewickville Lutheran Church. Menu includes fried chicken with all the trimmings. The church is at the corner of routes K and WW in Sedgewickville. Feel free to attend the 10:30 a.m. worship service with pastor Albert Nyland.

Annual church supper will be served Oct. 2

Altenburg, Mo. -- Trinity Lutheran Church of Altenburg will hold its annual church supper from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 2 at the YPS Hall on Church Street in Altenburg. Menu includes chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, ham, green beans, potato salad, coleslaw, pies and a variety of desserts. Located next door to Trinity Lutheran Church, the Altenburg Lutheran Heritage Center and Museum will be open and all are welcome to visit. For more information, call 824-5198.
