The St. Joseph Men's Club will hold a breakfast and bake sale from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. April 27 at St. Joseph Church Hall in Apple Creek. Children younger than 5 eat free. The menu includes sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, homemade coffee cake, apple butter, orange juice and coffee. The public is invited.

Chicken and dumplings to be served May 3

Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church will serve chicken and dumplings from 3:30 to 7 p.m. May 3. Carryouts will be available, and children ages 6 to 10 will receive discounts. The vent is sponsored by the United Methodist Women.
