Ham and bean, veggie soup dinner offered

The Whitewater Methodist men will sponsor a ham and bean and vegetable soup dinner from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Whitewater Methodist Church. For more information call 573-794-2704. Children under 6 eat free.

Community arts center benefit dinner readied

A dinner to help support the arts center will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 14 at the Schock Community Arts Center, 116 East Hickory, Scott City. The menu includes fried chicken, hamburgers for the kids, green beans, buttered potatoes, slaw, dessert and drinks. Sodas are extra. Purchase tickets at the door or call 587-0215.

Whole hog pork sausage supper served up

DAISY -- A menu of grilled pork sausage, parsley potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, applesauce, bread, pie and drinks will be served beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday at New Salem United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Route AA. Children 5 and under eat free. Public cordially invited.
