Dinner to benefit Jackson Senior Center

From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the Jackson Senior Citizens Foundation will hold a dinner at the Jackson Senior Center, 2690 Travelers Way, Jackson. Free for children 5 and under. Proceeds raised will be matched by the home office of Modern Woodmen of America up to $2,500. The money will be used to purchase tables, chairs, pots and pans. For more information, call 243-4241.

All-you-can-eat fish fry is April 7 in Scott City

The Scott City First Assembly of God is hosting an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 7 at 312 Dearborn, Scott City. The meal includes fish, cole slaw, baked beans, hush puppies, potatoes, tea and coffee. Children 5 and under eat free. Carry-outs available. Delivery available in Scott City. The Scott City First Assembly of God will be hosting fish fries every Friday throughout Lent. For more information, call 264-2365.

Community outreach breakfast is April 8

Held from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, the West Side Church of God, 2222 Bloomfield St., Cape Girardeau will hold a community outreach breakfast. Free pancakes, bacon and drinks.
