VFW Post 3838, 1049 N. Kingshighway, is hosting a chili lunch from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds will go to veterans' relief and various community charities.
Men's club to hold breakfast, bake sale
The Men's Club at St. Joseph Church Hall in Apple Creek, Mo., will host a holiday breakfast and bake sale from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 9. Sausage, eggs, fried potatoes and other breakfast foods will be served. Children younger than 5 eat free.
