Fish dinner scheduled in Scott City on Friday

An all-you-can-eat fall fish dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Knights of Columbus Upper Hall in Scott City.

Hay rides, chili planned at Jackson church

The Jackson Church of the Nazarene, on Old Toll Road just west of Beussink Bros. Cabinet Shop, will hold a chili supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Hay wagon rides will be given, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Perkins fire department sponsoring barbecue

The Perkins Volunteer Fire Department's 21st annual barbecue will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m Sunday. Children under 6 can eat free. A deer rifle will be given away.

Pork sausage supper planned in Pocahontas

The annual family-style pork sausage supper with all the trimmings, home-baked bread and coffee cake will be served from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. Meal is offered family style and a country store will also be available.

Church serving lunch at bazaar, flea market

The Third Street United Methodist Church, 1200 Bend Road., Cape Girardeau, will hold a fall bazaar and flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 6. Lunch includes vegetable beef soup, chili, hot dogs, desserts, drinks. There will be baked goods, jelly, handmade goose clothes and geese quilt raffle.

St. Joseph Parish holding fall festival and dinner

A fall festival and dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 7 at St. Joseph Parish in Apple Creek, Mo.
