Kettle beef and chicken dressing at New Salem

The New Salem United Methodist Church will hold a dinner at 4 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship Hall. The menu includes kettle beef, chicken dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, slaw, bread, cake and drink. Children 5 and under eat free. The public is invited.

All-you-can-eat fish fry to be held Oct. 27

The Scott City First Assembly of God is holding an all-you-can-eat fish fry at 4 p.m. Saturday. Menu includes fish, cole slaw, baked beans, hush puppies, potatoes, tea and coffee. Zion Lutheran Church to hold sausage supper

Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas will hold its annual family-style pork sausage supper with all the trimmings from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 29. Home baked bread and coffee cake are on the menu. There will be a country store.

Emmanuel to hold sausage supper Nov. 4

Emmanuel United Church of Christ will hold a whole hog sausage supper from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at 304 E. Adams St., Jackson. Discounted price offered for children 5 to 12. For more information, call 243-3323.
