New Salem Methodist serving meal Saturday

A family-style kettle beef and chicken dressing supper will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at New Salem United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at Route AA in Daisy. Children 5 and under can eat free.

Whole hog sausage dinner planned

Whole hog pork sausage will be served at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Parish Hall in Shawneetown. Dinner is sponsored by Trinity LLL Men's Club and Trinity Ladies Aid. Meal will be served family style. Children under 6 can eat free.

Free fish fry on tap at Westminster Presbyterian

A churchwide fish fry will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1820 Perryville Road, Cape Girardeau. The public is welcome to attend. Call 334-4344 to make reservations. There is no charge for the meal.

Chicken strips, fish fry on table at New McKendree

An all you can eat chicken strips and fish fry will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at New McKendree United Methodist Church. The menu also includes green beans, spiral cut potatoes, hush puppies, dessert and drinks. Children 5 and under may eat free.

Evangelical United making plans for annual supper

From 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday the Evangelical United Church of Christ, 33 S. Ellis St., Cape Girardeau, will hold its annual supper. Take outs will be available. The menu includes chicken, dumplings and all the trimmings.

St. James Church of Christ providing chili, stew

A chili and stew supper will be served at St. James United Church of Christ, 245 County Road 366, Jackson on Saturday. Food will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Children under 6 may eat free.
