Knights of Columbus to hold fish fry Friday

A fish fry will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Parish Center in Dexter, Mo.

Salvation Army serving meals this week

The Salvation Army in Cape Girardeau will hold Meals with Friends this week. Serving time is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. today through Friday. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a hot, nutritious meal at no cost. Menus are:

Monday: Goulash, buttered corn, salad, bread and butter, cake or pie.

Tuesday: Shepherd's pie, fruit cup, bread and butter, cake or pie.

Wednesday: Turkey and noodles, green beans, applesauce, rolls and butter, cake or pie.

Thursday: BBQ pork sandwiches, potato chips, baked beans, peaches, cake or pie.

Friday: Fish fillets, tater tots, coleslaw, bread and butter, cake or pie.
