Church soup and chili dinner scheduled

The annual soup and chili dinner will be held at Emanuel United Church of Christ, 304 E. Adams, Jackson, following the morning service Sunday. An auction will follow. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Jamaican Christian Medical Mission.

New Salem holding pork sausage supper

A whole-pork sausage supper will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at New Salem United Methodist Church, Highway AA, Daisy, Mo. The menu includes grilled pork sausage, parsley potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, applesauce, bread, pie and drinks. The public is invited.

Church dinner to feature wild game

Zion United Methodist Church will hold a wild game dinner Saturday. Fellowship starts at 6 p.m.; serving starts at 6:30 p.m. Possibilities for the menu are deer, rabbit and raccoon. Due to limited seating capacity, tickets must be purchased in advance. Call Weldon Macke at 243-2866 for more information.
