Burchyett reunion to be held Sunday

The Burchyett family will have a reunion at 10 a.m. Sunday at Cape County Park shelter No. 20. There will be a family auction with funds benefiting the Lindsey Cemetery Association. NARFE Chapter 1237 meets next week

National Association of Retired and Current Federal Employees Chapter 1237 will meet at noon Tuesday at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Perryville, Mo. Current and retired federal employees in Perry, Ste. Domestic violence task force meets July 14

The Domestic Violence Community Response Task Force meeting will begin with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m. July 14 at the VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau. Call Betty Brown, court advocate for Safe House for Women, at 335-7745 by July 9 for lunch reservations. The meeting is open to the public. Emily Hayes, Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence education coordinator, will speak on intimate partner sexual violence.

Ludwig reunion to be held west of Fruitland

A catered meal at noon July 12 will kick off the Ludwig reunion at St. John's United Church of Christ, west of Fruitland. Local families should bring a dessert to share. For more information, call 335-6878.

Central class of 1958 holding reunion

The Central High School class of 1958 will begin its reunion with a cocktail hour at 5 p.m. July 10 at the Marquette Terrace restaurant.
