Pachyderms to meet at Dexter Bar-B-Que
The Southeast Missouri Pachyderm Club will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at Dexter Bar-B-Que in Cape Girardeau. The meal begins at 6:15 p.m. The guest speaker is former U.S. Secret Service agent Paul Nenninger. For more information, call Gerald Adams at 243-4199.
Learn contra dance at beginner's session
The Cape Friends of Traditional Music and Dance will hold a free beginner's session from 6:45 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church, 101 N. Fountain St., followed by a 7 to 9:30 p.m. contra dance to live music. All moves are taught and the dances are walked through. There is a discounted donation for students. Women's Connection meets March 10
The Women's Connection group is holding a program from 6 to 8 p.m. March 10 at Main Street Lanes in Jackson and welcomes the public. The program includes a bowling party, meal and speaker.
