Cape genealogy society will meet tomorrow

The Cape Girardeau County Genealogy Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside Regional Library in Jackson. The program will be presented by Morley Swingle on researching historical novels.

The Cape Girardeau County Genealogy Society is an organization of about 200 people which meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Nonmembers are welcome at all meetings. Membership is $10 per year. For more information, call Dorothy Rowley at 243-5882.

Blood drive to be held at Naval Reserve Center

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Cape Naval Reserve Center, at 2530 Maria Louise Lane in Cape Girardeau.
