Commissioners OK bid for equipment

The Cape Girardeau County Commission approved bids on highway department rental equipment and replacement of cylinders in the Jackson courthouse elevator during its meeting Monday.

Fabick Equipment of Scott City won the bid for rental of soil stabilizer that will mix material for replacement of pavement primarily on County Road 422. The rental was approved for two weeks.

Erb Equipment of Cape Girardeau won the bid for rental of a vibratory smooth roller for paving of six county roads. The rental was approved for two months.

Otis Elevator Co. of Brentwood, Mo., was the winning bidder for replacement of cylinders in the courthouse in Jackson.
