The companies placing bids were Computer 21, $20,814.20; Phoenix IT, $21,315.99; CompUSA, $30,117.46; Fidler Technologies, $29,754; Technology & Networking, $26,206 and $21,756; Innovative Idea, $18,867; CDWG, $26,952.74; and Alexander Open Systems, $17,326.

The commissioners passed a motion to refer the bids to information technology director Eric McGowen and Recorder of Deeds Janet Robert for evaluation.
