Comedians from the television series "The Search for Humor in America's Heartland" will perform Saturday at The River City Yacht Club.
National touring comedy duo Jeff Batts and J. Frederick Gemoets will perform at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. Q99 radio personality Jimmy Steele will emcee the event.
The live show is titled "The sick puppies on parade," and combines musical comedy with stand-up comedy. The pair have toured the country working with big names including Frankie Valli, the Four Season, the Charlie Daniels Band, Judy Tenuta and Gallagher. Tickets for the two shows are $5 and are available at the Port Cape Girardeau restaurant.
