First responders work the scene of a two-vehicle accident that occurred just before 5 p.m. Thursday at William and Pacific streets in Cape Girardeau. According to Cape Girardeau police, a red Mazda attempted to cross William Street heading south on Pacific and was struck by a black Buick traveling west on William Street.
