Cape Girardeau police are still seeking clues in the shooting of windows and glass doors at Alma Schrader and Clippard elementary schools, and at A.C. Brase Arena New Year's Eve.

No one was injured in any of shootings.

Patrolman Jason Selzer said police are continuing to provide a stronger presence, but vandalism is suspected.

The Cape Girardeau Board of Education has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Nine windows and one glass door were damaged at Clippard, 2860 Hopper Road, and a glass door and four windows were shot at Alma Schrader, 1360 Randol Ave. Lights, three windows and three glass doors were shot at the arena building in Arena Park.

A .22-caliber weapon was used, and police believe the shootings are connected.
