Eastside Homemakers

Members of Eastside Homemakers held a potluck dinner picnic July 17 at the home of Janet Piepenbrok. Opal Tallent gave the table prayer.

Roll call was answered with old-fashioned jokes. A brief meeting was held.

Violet Reynolds gave a program on "Don't Fall for the National No List Scam."

Helen Humes will be hostess for the Aug. 21 meeting.

St. Mary's CCW

The July 18 meeting of St. Mary's Council of Catholic Women was held at Maria Haus. Judy Stricker was welcomed as a new member.

The program was given by Amanda Hite from Life Line Screening. Screenings will be held at St. Mary's Aug. 16.

The next meeting will be Aug. 15, featuring a Christmas craft show and tell.

Roberts Homemakers

Pat Terry was hostess for the July meeting of Roberts Homemakers Club. Gloria Hanners opened the meeting. Roll call was answered by telling vacation plans.

All members participated in the program by bringing articles of interest.
