Grace United Methodist Women executive group met Oct. 7 with six members present. Mary Ann Pensel opened the meeting with a devotion on three projects of UMW: Festival of Quilts with each child arriving at Cunningham Childrens Home receiving a quilt; Columbia-Zenu Reservation learns to make and sell bread; and Congelese through UMCOR plants, grows and harvests sunflower seeds to make oil.

Minutes were read and approved by a motion by Jean Wetzel and seconded by Pensel. A thank-you note for the mission corsage from Barb Miller was read. Wetzel gave the treasurer's report.

Miller reported on power of prayer/hearing God study and Pensel reported that study started Sunday in her Sunday school class and will be done in morning and afternoon study groups.
