Club news 1/13/05

Laureate Alpha Rho

The Laureate Alpha Rho Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at Soup and Sweets in Scott City for their Jan. 6 meeting. After the meeting was held, Erma Vaughan, president, read a thank-you note from the Safe House for Women for the paper and hygiene products donated by the chapter.

Vaughan also announced that votes were to be cast at the next meeting for Valentine queen.

A program about a weekly workout and hugs was presented by Edna Hey and read by Rosanna Whitnel.

The next meeting will be Jan. 20 at the home of Marion Miles-Edwards.
