Reruns has relocated from 625 Broadway to 110 N. Main Street in downtown Cape Girardeau. Owner Cathy Davis of Cape Girardeau said the move had several reasons.

She said the downtown area has more pedestrian traffic and the building has more usable floor space. She is renting space from John Jones.

Davis is instituting several changes in the clothing shop's operation, which handles women's clothing and accessories. She is adding women's plus sizes and maternity clothing on consignment, noting the more requests have been made lately for these items. She expects to be doing more consignments in general than before.

Davis is continuing the buy/sell basic operation as before. "I am continuing to handle active wear - jeans, blouses, shorts, skirts and the like," she said. "The clothing should be clean, in good condition and in current styles. I prefer nature fiber materials." She does not handle prom dresses, lady's suits or winter coats.

She is no longer carrying menswear.

Davis works in cooperation with a friend who operates a similar store in Carbondale, Ill.

Reruns will be open normal shopping hours. It opened two years ago.
