CITY TO OFFER WRESTLING CLASSES

The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will offer basic youth wrestling classes at the A.C. Brase Arena in Arena Park.

Classes will be for four weeks on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. the first session will meet from June 16 to July 9 and the second session runs from July 13 to Aug. 6. Classes run from 10 a.m. to noon.

Classes are open to youngsters 9 through 15. The fee for the class is $10 for residents and $13 for non-residents.

Participants should wear shorts, shirts and socks.

Instruction will include takedowns, offensive and defensive moves, rules and other basics of the sport.
