City offices close Friday

Cape Girardeau city government offices will be closed Friday in observance of the Veterans Day holiday on Saturday. City offices will resume normal business hours Monday.

Thursday's trash and recycling collection routes will be picked up on Wednesday. The Friday trash and recycling pick-ups will be made on Thursday. There will be no Wednesday special pick-ups , and all other pick-ups will remain on their normal schedule.

Emergency services will function as normal during the closures.
