City of Cape inspecting for earthquake damage

The City of Cape Girardeau has crews out this morning looking for any damage that might have been caused by today's early morning 5.2 earthquake centered in Illinois, according to a city news release.City officials say they're just taking "precautionary steps," and they acknowledge the earthquake was a minor tremor.No damage is expected, the news release said, but the city wants to make sure there's no damage to important infrastructure like bridges and levees. . ...
