CITY GYM ANNOUNCES JANUARY SCHEDULE

The city of Cape Girardeau has designated January as "Jammin Gym Month" at the A.C. Brase Arena building.

The gym schedule will include: Tuesdays, noon to 6 p.m.; Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Fridays, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sundays from noon to 7 p.m.

The gym will be closed Jan. 3, 5, 15, 24, & 25.

The gym has a regulation size volleyball court and basketball court set up at all times. The gym also has room for those who wish to walk during the cold months.

The weightroom, located upstairs at the Arena Building, is also available for the general public.

City residents can receive an I.D. at the Parks and Recreation Office. Admission fee is $1 for adults; children are admitted free.
