On a proposal to vacate city's interest in a portion of Country Club Drive, Capaha Trail and an unnamed street in the Cape Rock Park area

Consent Ordinances (Second and third readings)

Rezoned 726 Independence St. from C-1, local commercial, to C-3, central business district.

Granted a special use permit for a mail order sporting goods business at 1515 Kurre Lane.

Designated the Glenn House, 325 South Spanish St., St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 131 S. Main; Thilenius House, 100 Longview Place; James Reynolds House, 623 North Main St.; George Boardman Clark House, 6 South Fountain St., and Klosterman Block/Alliance Building, 7-15 South Spanish Street, as historic landmarks.

Annexed old Hanover Lutheran Church and school.

Banned on-street parking at certain spots on Louisiana Avenue.

Established two-hour parking on some sections of Louisiana.

Amended special use regulations.

Appropriated funds for Transportation Sales Tax Fund.

New Ordinances

Vacated the city's interest in a portion of Country Club Drive, Capaha Trail and an unnamed street in the Cape Rock Park area.

Approved placement of stop signs on North Church Street, Magnolia Avenue, Paul Revere Drive and Sherwood Drive.

Approved placement of yield signs on Paul Revere Drive, Cannon Lane, Minute Men Way and Patriot Drive.

Accepted general warranty deed for the closure of the city landfill.

Accepted permanent easements for a sanitary sewer extension to serve Hanover Estates Subdivision.

Approved plans for sewer construction.
