The all new 122nd edition of Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus will return to the Show Me Center for six shows June 25-27.
Tickets go on sale Monday at 9 a.m.
The circus features the first Mongolian circus performers ever to appear inthe Western Hemisphere.
Kadyr Kahn, descendant of legendary ruler of Genghis Kahn, leads his charging brigade of horsemen. Contortionists, one of world's strongest men, and members of the Mongolian National Folk Dance Troupe will perform.
Also performing from Moscow is the prima ballerina of the high wire Fatima. Fists and feet flash at lightening speeds as "Chinese ninjas" deliver a demonstration of Wushu, the ancient martial art.
Included in the line up are ever-popular clowns, a herd of pachyderms on parade and dexterous foot juggler from the Philippines.
Animal anomalies include regal Bengal tigers presented by America's Wade Burck, and the canine capers of Lloyd's Old English Sheepdogs and the Adams Family dogs. And, for the first time ever, equilbrists perform atop perambulating elephants with a special appearance by King Tusk.
The first show will be June 25 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be $17.50 for ringside seats (first two rows of the lower level), $10.50 for lower and upper level center seats and $7.50 for the upper level corners.
Three shows are scheduled June 26 at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Two shows will be held June 27, 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. Tickets for these performances are $17.50 for ringside seats, $12.50 for lower and upper level center seats, and $9.50 for upper level corner seats.
On June 26, children under age 12 receive $1.50 off ticket prices, except for the $17.50 ringside seats. Ringside seats are available only at the Show Me Center box office.
