This morning a piece of the courtroom ceiling the Common Pleas Courthouse collapsed. The damage happened above the jury box in the courtroom, according to a report Don McQuay made during this morning's Cape Girardeau County Commission meeting. No one appears to have been injured. McQuay said he was not sure what repairs would cost. When a similar incident happened at the Jackson courthouse the county paid approximately $30,000 for repairs...
