Since the early 1980s, Carman has been entertaining audiences with his ministry and contemporary Christian music.

He was voted Favorite Christian Male Vocalist four consecutive years by readers of "Charisma" and "Christian Life," and he has performed for more than 1.5 million people. He currently is in the middle of a 15-month tour of the United States.

His 1991 release, "Addicted To Jesus," backs up his devotion to themes at the heart of the church. The album stayed at No. 1 for 15 weeks on the contemporary Christian chart, topping albums by artists like Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith and Petra.

At the same time, Carman's 1989 "Revival in the Land" release was No. 15 on the chart.

The lock-in will be held in the rec center. Adult volunteers also are needed for the event.

Cost per person is $5 to cover the cost of food and rec center rental. Pre-registration is encouraged. For more information, call 651-4443.
