SPRINGFIELD -- Illinois sportsmen are reminded that hunting and fishing licenses will expire March 31.
"Turkey hunting season start in April, and the fishing season is just around the corner," said Department of Conservation director mark Frech. "Now is the time to get new licenses."
Frech said the yearly fee for hunting or fishing license is $7.50. A combination sportsman's license sells for 413.75. New licenses area good from April 1, 1991 through March 31, 1992, and are available at many sporting goods store, bait shops, county clerks and DOC regional offices.
