CHARLESTON TEEN INJURED IN CRASH

ANNISTON -- A Charleston teen-ager suffered serious injuries when his vehicle struck another on Missouri 105 Tuesday morning.

Thomas H. Story, 17, was flown by helicopter to Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau after the accident, which occurred at 7:15 at Missouri 105 at Anniston.

He was southbound on Missouri 105 when his vehicle rear-ended a vehicle driven by Leslie Armstrong, 34, of East Prairie. Armstrong had stopped in traffic to make a left turn, said the Missouri Highway Patrol.
