SIKESTON, Mo. -- A 21-year-old man was charged today with the slaying of a woman whose body was found in a drain culvert in Sikeston, Mo.
The woman, whose identity was being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was found Sunday by two people fishing, according to Sikeston Department of Public Safety news release.
Today, officials charged James V. Cullum, of Sikeston, with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death.
