CHAMBER PLAYERS CONCERT SUNDAT AT OLD ST. VINCENT'S

The Southeast Chamber Players will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday at Old St. Vincent's church.

The concert will include music composed by J.N. Hummel, Leos Janacek, the American premiere of a suite by Hungarian composer Ferenc Farkas, and Paul Hindemith's Septett for Wind Instruments.

The finale will be Rossini's overture to his opera "the Italian in Algiers."

The chamber Players are composed of area professional musicians and music teachers.

Admission is free. Financial support for the appearance is provided the Missouri Arts Council, the Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts and the Southeast Missourian.
