CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOLD INSTALLATION BANQUET

The Jackson Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Installation Banquet on Monday, June 24. It will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

The guest speaker will be Dr. Linda M. Godwin, NASA Astronaut. She is the veteran of three space flights and has spent more than 633 hours in space.

Larry Hall, president, will speak about the past year and then the 1996-97 officers will be installed.

The R.A. Fulenwider Meritorious Community Service Award will also be awarded to someone that has unselfishly and voluntarily worked to make Jackson a better place in which to live.

Happy hour begins at 6:15 p.m. and dinner is served at 7 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling the Jackson Chamber of Commerce at 243-8131. The cost is $10 per person. The deadline for reservations is Monday, June 17.
