Chaffee man facing assault charges

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- A Chaffee man has been arrested following an alleged domestic assault.

According to a news release from the Chaffee Police Department, Joshua Musgrove, 29, has been charged with first-degree assault and domestic assault, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Chaffee police received a call about an assault in progress Tuesday night. When an officer arrived on the scene, the suspect had left the area, but two people, a man and a woman, had been assaulted, according to the release. The man was transported to a hospital.

Musgrove was taken into custody without incident Wednesday. His bond has been set at $10,000 cash only.
