CHAFFEE, Mo. -- A Chaffee man has been arrested on burglary and drug charges.
According to a news release from Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter, Kurt A. Knuckles, 46, has been charged with second-degree burglary, felony stealing, stealing a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, possession of synthetic cannabinoid and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
During a drug investigation, deputies received information that Knuckles was involved in a residential burglary May 5 in Chaffee, the release said. Their investigation resulted in the recovery of stolen power tools and a firearm taken during the burglary. Nonprescription hydrocodone tablets and K-2 synthetic marijuana were also found in Knuckles' possession, according to the release. Walter said Knuckles was released Monday on a $500 bond.
