Judy Moss, economic development director for the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, has completed national board certification for industrial/economic developer. The certification exam is conducted by the American Economic Development Council.
Missouri has 22 certified developers in the state, more than any other state. Dianna Moore of the Perry County Industrial Development Authority is the only other certified developer in Southeast Missouri, according to Moss.
Moss is a graduate of Fontbonne College of St. Louis, with a bachelor and a master's degree in business. Moss is also certified with the National Development Council as an economic development finance professional.
A native of Lesterville, she and her husband reside at 2723 Floral Hills in Cape Girardeau.
