Ceremony to mark street project's completion
Cape Girardeau city officials will cut a ribbon at 2 p.m. today to mark the completion of the $1.2 million Fountain Street extension, even though the street will remain closed until the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge opens Dec. 13. The street runs from Highway 74 to Morgan Oak, bordering Southeast Missouri State University's planned River Campus ....
