CENTRAL'S HIGH SCHOOL, JUNIOR HIGH CONCERT SET

A concert featuring the Cape Girardeau Central High School and Junior High School string orchestras will be presented Tuesday at the Central High School Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. There is no admission charge.

Directed by Steve Schaffner, the Central High School Orchestra will perform, among other selections, "Overture to the Mesiah" by Handel, "Diversion Number 4" by Lloyd Conley, "Finale" from "Serenade" by Tchaikovsky and "Slava!" by Rimsky-Korsakoff.

The Junior High School string orchestra will perform works by William Frost, Wiggins and Caponegro.
