Cape Central High School will hold its annual blood drive Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the school's new gymnasium.
Prizes will be awarded every hour and "goody bags" will be given to every donor.
Cape Central High School holds the record for the most pints of blood collected by a Missouri High School, with 362. This year's goal is 300 pints.
The American Red Cross encourages all students to give blood. The Cape Girardeau Army Reserve Unit has challenged the athletes of Cape Central to donate blood.
