CENTRAL STUDENT RECOGNIZED

Emily Trueblood, a senior at Cape Central High School, has been named the winner of the Young Women in Public Affairs Award by the Cape Girardeau Zonta Club.

The program recongizes high school-age students who are active in leadership roles in their schools, communities, the political process and/or international programs.

Trueblood is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Trueblood of Cape Girardeau. She was recognized for her participation in many school and community activities, and will represent Cape Girardeau in the District Scholarship Award Program.
