CENTRAL STUDENT ACTIVITIES TO BEGIN

Cape Girardeau Central High School will hold orientation sessions Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for sophomores and transfer students. Students may attend either session. Both are being held in Room 54.

Students will be acquainted with the building, meet their counselors and discuss school procedures. Members of the Student Council will be on hand to lead tours and discuss extracurricular activities. Parents may attend.

School begins at 7:45 a.m. Aug. 28 with 1,100 students expected.

Students or parents can meet with counselors about program changes before the start of school. Seniors can meet Wednesday and Thursday, juniors can meet Friday and Aug. 21, and sophomores can meet Aug. 22.

New students are encouraged to come to the guidance office this week to enroll and pick up schedules.
