The Central Pool will be open from 1-8 p.m. Monday to accommodate those who have a Presidents' Day vacation.

The pool's next round of classes also will start on Monday.

Water babies, preschool, youth, adult beginners, basic water safety, emergency water safety, lifeguard training, swimnastics, springboard diving and snorkeling classes will be offered.

Another lifeguard training class will be taught from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. March 6-7, and from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. March 13-14.

Phone the pool at 335-4040 or the city recreation department at 335-5421 for a schedule of classes.

The pool will close at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, for the beginning of the Kiwanis Great Times Swim Meet.

The pool will reopen for early bird fitness swimming at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22.
