CENTRAL BAND TO PERFORM AT EPCOT CENTER

The Marching Tigers of Cape Girardeau Central High School will travel to Orlando, Fla., to perform at Disney's Epcot Center.

The performance is scheduled for Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Epcot Center lake.

One hundred and ten students and 65 parents and family members will leave from Central High School Dec. 26 at 7:45 p.m. They will be taking four motorcoaches and will be gone through Dec. 31.

The Marching Tigers take a band trip once every three years.

For the past three years students have sold candy, sausage and cheese and community business-discount cards. They also operated a fireworks booth in the summer.

Proceeds from the fund-raisers help offset the cost of the trip.
