CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. -- Police are seeking the public's help in finding a hit-and-run driver.

About 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Marlar Road near the Taven Apartments, a vehicle crossed the lane and struck a pedestrian, according to Caruthersville police chief Tony Jones. The vehicle then fled the scene.

Jones said the pedestrian did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.

The investigation continues and Jones requests anyone with information to contact his department at 333-2121.
