The Show Me Center is counting its first concert of its 20th anniversary season a success. Country comedian and musician Rodney Carrington performed Saturday night at the Show Me Center, drawing a crowd of 3,521 during Homecoming weekend. Show Me Center marketing director Shannon Buford said Carrington performed well, and afterward stayed behind well after the end of the concert to allow waiting fans onto his tour bus. The next Show Me Center concert is blues musician Buddy Guy on Nov. 11.
