CARLA BROWN IS GIVEN SCHOLARSHIP

PERRYVILLE -- Carla Jean Brown, a senior at St. Vincent's High School, has been awarded a presidential scholarship at Maryville College in St. Louis.

She is one of 10, 1991 high-school graduates to receive the scholarships, which pay all tuition plus room and board for one academic year at the school. The scholarships are renewable annually for three years to undergraduates who maintain specified academic standards.

Brown is the daughter of Ray and Joyce Brown of Perryville.
